Tiny Windows Enters a New Era: Two Principals, One Vision
In a world where, more than ever, impactful community engagement requires both creativity and strategic structure, Tiny Windows is stepping boldly into a new chapter. Formerly known as Tiny Windows Consulting, the agency has rebranded simply as Tiny Windows and is now led by Miriam Brosseau, CEO & Principal, and Angel-Alvarez Mapp, COO & Principal. Together, Miriam and Angel bring a fresh, vibrant vision to the agency, positioning it as a unique partner for Jewish leaders and organizations seeking to expand their impact through community-powered strategy, creativity, and connection.
Founded by Miriam, Tiny Windows began as a solo consultancy, blending her deep understanding of Jewish communal life with her expertise in creative engagement. Over time, Miriam’s work illuminated a need to build capacity and find a partner who could bring new perspectives and complementary skills to the table. Introduced over LinkedIn, Miriam and Angel discovered they had both values and vision in common. Their initial calls quickly led to an ambitious joint project overseas—and the rest was history.
“The first time I actually met Miriam in person was at the counter at LAX,” laughs Angel. The trip didn’t exactly start with a heart-to-heart. “Miriam was in the row behind me with no one next to her, while I was next to Mr. Chatty Cathy,” Angel recalls. “At no point did my new friend say, ‘Oh, join me back here!’ Nope. She spread out over two seats, quite comfy.” Miriam adds, “Literally the most selfish thing I’ve ever done. And I shall never live it down.”
Despite this unconventional start, a close bond formed quickly. As Miriam reflects, “I’ve known him for just over a year, but it feels like we’ve been friends forever.”
A partnership rooted in shared vision and values
One of the key connections between Miriam and Angel lies in their shared values and commitment to excellence in community work. Angel, with his experience in senior executive roles, has long envisioned helping organizations strengthen how they fulfill their missions. “Many organizations struggle to tell their own stories or build strategy,” Angel notes. “When I met Miriam, I thought, ‘Here’s someone who’s incredible with communications, and I can bring in structural support.’ Together, we could really bring this vision to life.”
Together, Miriam and Angel bring complementary skills that enable Tiny Windows to serve the Jewish community with greater depth, joy, and inclusivity. As a woman- and Jew of color-led agency, Tiny Windows is committed to building a team and work environment that reflects the rich diversity of the Jewish world. Miriam elaborates on the agency’s vision, saying, “The inside needs to be like the outside. Every time that we share something with the world, it needs to be emblematic of the bigger whole.”
For Miriam and Angel, diversity isn’t simply a value—it’s a strategic imperative that enables them to better connect with a wide range of Jewish organizations and individuals. Their goal is to be boundary-spanners, connecting various sub-communities and fostering a sense of unity through shared values, creative strategies, and a truly inclusive approach to consulting.
With Miriam’s visionary approach to community-powered engagement and strategy and Angel’s focus on structure and creative design, Tiny Windows is positioned to make a lasting impact. They’re helping Jewish organizations connect with their audiences in ways that are both authentic and impactful.
A new look, and services that make a different
Tiny Windows continues to partner with Jewish leaders and organizations to grow their impact, now with an expanded approach to consulting.
A cool new look reflects the updated approach. Interlocking windows reflect the agency’s commitment to connection. Funky colors represent the team’s quirkiness. “The tagline, ‘Ask a bigger question, tell a smaller story,’ is all about connecting strategy and communication,” adds Miriam.
A refreshed slate of services embodies that connection. Tiny Windows offers strategic planning, program and curriculum design, and digital marketing and communications strategy and support.
“We’re helping organizations nail that throughline. From big-picture vision to staffing structure, from marketing strategy to Instagram post, it’s all one narrative,” adds Angel. “That’s what it means to open tiny windows.”
